The 100 Day Project
The challenge
The 100 day project is an initiative which thousands of artists take part in all over the world every year. The aim is to do something creative every day, to record yourself whilst doing it and post it to social media (you can view it on Instagram). I chose to do a mini oil painting every day to produce a body of work for my open Studio event in June 2024.
When I started the project back in February, I had no idea of the challenge it would be to keep up a sustained repetitive practice for 100 days straight. It's been enormous fun but much harder than I thought to do it every day!
I'm really very proud to now share this collection with you and hope that you enjoy them as much as I have done over the past few months.
The exhibition
It was easy to get lost in the detail of the project as I was working through it but I when first started to get the paintings up on the wall, I was absolutely blown away by how it looked.
I shared the collection in its entirety at my Open Studio event in June and received a great response to it.
