A note from the sky gazer
The great outdoors. Whether it be walking, plein air painting or visiting new places - you can normally find me looking up to the sky. I'm fairly obsessed, no two skies are ever the same.
For me, the landscape means space to breathe. It's a deep-rooted connection that brings a sense of peace and tranquility to our busy lives, a place to escape the hustle and bustle.
This is the basis for my art.
Paintings that transport you to a place of tranquility through sweeping vistas and vast expanses of sky. Paintings that evoke memories of beautiful, precious places and the time we have spent there.
Whether that be more representational oils or abstracted encaustics, the inspiration remains the same.
